SYNOPSIS

let name=val1[op1val2...]
|
|
|
|
DESCRIPTION
|
|
Sets the value of the named shell variable to the value of an
|
|
arithmetic expression. The arithmetic expression is evaluated from
|
|
left to right. The allowable operators are as follows:
|
|
|
|
>= - Greater than or equal
|
|
<= - Less than or equal
|
|
== - Equal
|
|
!= - Not equal
|
|
&& - Logical and
|
|
|| - Logical or
|
|
>> - Arithmetic shift right
|
|
<< - Shift left
|
|
+ - Add
|
|
- - Subtract
|
|
* - Multiply
|
|
/ - Divide
|
|
& - Bitwise and
|
|
| - Bitwise or
|
|
< - Less than
|
