General

The directory /appliances contains the configuration of the appliances to be built each in a subdirectory. There is a special appliance, the appliance "Default":

Default appliance

The configuration of the appliance in the directory "/appliances/default" is merged into all other appliances. This is useful for configurations that should be identical in all appliances to be created. For example, the keyboard layout and the display language can be set here for all appliances.
